120V Track Systems are modular in design, allowing them to be tailored for various applications across a wide range of interior environments. Current limiters are often required in certain applications or municipalities to restrict the total load on a track system, ensuring compliance with energy conservation requirements. These limiters are available in a variety of styles and total load ratings.

WAC Current Limiters are easy to install and guarantee compliance with California Title 24 or ASHRAE 90.1 requirements. Two styles of current limiters are available for "H" style track: an Octagonal Live End Feed that fits over a standard 4-inch octagonal junction box, or a Slim Live End Feed that can be installed as a surface-mounted or suspension-mounted current limiter.

Energy code track installations are subject to wattage limitations based on the size and usage of the space. It is essential to order the appropriate current limiter by selecting the model number that corresponds to the H system with the required amperage rating. WAC current limiters are typically available in 0.5, 1, 2, 5, 7, and 10 amp versions.

If the track is overloaded, the current limiter's circuit breaker will trip and shut down power to the track. The circuit breaker can be reset once the overall sum of fixture wattages is reduced below the circuit breaker rating.

All WAC current limiters are UL and cUL listed for dry locations, and they are compliant with CEC Title 24 and ADA requirements.
