WAC Smart Fans offer a variety of features and control options. All WAC Smart Fans come with a Bluetooth-enabled remote control with a magnetic wall cradle. An optional hardwired wall control (Part # WC20-WT) can also be purchased separately. The remote control can be paired with an unlimited number of WAC Smart Fans within range and can operate from up to 100 feet away.

The remote control functions include turning the fan on/off, adjusting the fan speed up/down (6 speeds) with audible beep confirmation, turning the light on/off, and dimming the light up/down. Additionally, the remote control allows for toggling between winter and summer fan modes.

All WAC Smart Fans can be controlled by most iPhone or Android devices. No additional hardware or purchases are necessary, as the app is available for free download through the iPhone App Store or Google Play Stores. The app functions include all the basic remote control features, as well as 7/365 day scheduling, adaptive learning, fan grouping, and advanced smart home integration.

The WAC Smart Fans feature a high-powered, energy-efficient LED luminaire (optional) with 1,100 lumens, 3000K color temperature, 90 CRI, and a 50,000-rated hour lifespan. The fans are durably finished and rated for indoor or outdoor use, and they utilize a quiet, reliable, and up to 70% more efficient DC motor compared to traditional AC fans.

WAC Smart Fans can be integrated with smart devices for voice-activated and thermostat control. They also offer winter and summer modes, where the blades spin counter-clockwise in summer mode to move cool air and clockwise in winter mode to move warm air.

The Energy Guide for the WAC Smart Fans shows a weighted average electricity consumption of 20W (26W on high), an airflow of 3,946 CFM (5,906 CFM on high), and an efficiency of 195 CFM/W. The estimated annual energy cost is $6.00 based on 0.12 per kWh and 6.4 hours of use per day.

A variety of accessories are available, including ceiling fan extension downrods, downrod couplers, slope ceiling adapters, additional remote controls, and hardwired wall controls.
