The remote control can be paired with an unlimited number of WAC Smart Fans within range, allowing for operation from up to 100 feet away. Its functions include turning the fan on/off, adjusting the speed (6-speeds) with audible beep confirmation, controlling the light (on/off, dim up/down), and toggling between winter and summer modes.

Beyond the basic remote control capabilities, WAC Smart Fans can be controlled using most iOS or Android devices. The free app, available through the App Store and Google Play, provides access to additional advanced features, such as 7/365 day scheduling, adaptive learning, fan grouping, and integration with smart home systems.

Designed for energy efficiency, WAC Smart Fans feature quiet, reliable, and up to 70% more efficient DC motors compared to traditional AC fans. Each fan is factory-balanced and sound-tested to ensure a smooth, rattle-free operation.

The optional high-powered LED luminaire delivers 1,600 lumens of 3000K color temperature illumination with a 90 CRI, meeting Title 24 energy efficiency requirements. The LED light kit can be dimmed smoothly and continuously and is UL and cUL rated for wet locations, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations.

WAC Smart Fans are compatible with a range of smart home platforms, including Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, Ecobee, Control4, and Josh AI, with additional integrations planned for Savant, Lutron Homeworks, and Nest.

The fans can be installed on slope ceilings up to 32 degrees, with a 6-inch downrod included. Additional downrod lengths are available for purchase separately.
