The path and area lights are casted using a special k-alloy aluminum that is engineered to withstand the most challenging environments over time. Solid brass coated in bronze (-BBR finish) is available for enhanced protection against corrosive elements and is recommended for use in coastal or marine environments. These fixtures are factory sealed and water tight with an IP66 rating for protection against high-pressure water jets and outdoor elements. They can tap into existing 12V landscape lighting applications, requiring a magnetic or electronic power supply (sold separately) for 12V fixtures. Each light includes a 9-inch mounting spike (Guardian Spike sku # 9000-SP9-BZ sold separately for more durable mounting) and a 3-foot lead wire with two gel-filled direct burial wire nuts. A variety of accessories are sold separately for additional mounting and glare control options.

The High Powered LED input is 9-15V AC, with a power of 3W (4.5VA) and a brightness of up to 105 Lumens. It has a CRI of 90 and a rated lifespan of 60,000 hours. Smooth and continuous dimming is possible with a Magnetic Low Voltage (MLV) dimmer. The lights are UL & cUL 1838 and IP66 Rated for Wet Locations (see Specification Sheet for complete details).
